World Environment Center -- Pathways to Prosperity Innovation Challenge

In partnership with the U.S. Department of State, the World Environment Center announces the first Pathways to Prosperity Innovation Challenge. The goal of the challenge is to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Latin America to grow and succeed in dimensions that include adoption of clean technology. As many as four winners will each receive up to US$500 thousand and technical support to help them scale up or replicate solutions in another context or geography. The challenge is open to non-profit organizations, private companies, and public entities worldwide – with emphasis on organizations based in Latin America.The registration deadline is 16 April 2014; the application deadline is 30 April 2014.
