The program in marine conservation operates internationally to fund marine biodiversity and fisheries management in selected ocean ecosystems of Southeast Asia and Latin America and Caribbean. Grant recipients are mainly large conservation organizations, policy institutes, and universities in the USA. The Foundation also makes grants to organizations in other countries, e.g., Mexico and others.
