U.S. Agency for International Development -- Forest Ecosystems in Central Africa

The governments of the USA and Norway will co-finance the third phase of the Central Africa Regional Program for the Environment (CARPE). The program aims to mitigate threats to biodiversity; improve forest management; reduce greenhouse gas emissions; and address rural poverty in the six countries of the Congo Basin.
