European Commission (EC) -- Adaptation to Climate Change in Tanzania

The Global Climate Change Alliance is an initiative of the European Union to strengthen dialogue and cooperation on climate change with developing countries, including Tanzania. The EC will support an eco-village approach in Tanzania to improve water management, forest management, agricultural production, rural energy, and knowledge and institutional capacity in zones vulnerable to climate change. The program is open to nonprofit NGOs and private enterprises in the EU, Tanzania, and other eligible countries. Grants will range from €1.0 million to € 1.6 million, subject to cost shares.
