British Council -- Newton Fund for International Science Collaboration with the UK

The Newton Fund promotes partnerships between researchers in the UK and researchers in developing and emerging economies through workshop grants, travel grants, and grants to link institutions. The Newton Fund announces current collaboration opportunities with Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, and Vietnam. Eligible subject areas include agriculture, climate and environment, sustainable energy, reduction of disaster risks, and others. Proposals have a principal applicant from the UK and a principal applicant from each partner country. The closing date for submissions is 27 June 2016.
