#AskAg: Youth in Agriculture
Join us on November 13, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm EST for an #AskAg Twitter Chat on Youth Development in Agriculture, co-hosted by USAID, Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD) and theAssociation of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU).
Youth make up about one fifth of the population of developing and emerging economies, and are the next generation of farmers, agridealers and extension agents. How do we equip young people with the skills they need to effectively transform agricultural development? What sort of institutional capacity needs must be met to ensure developing countries can adequately prepare their youth for these jobs?
Join Agrilinks and our experts for a twitter chat on youth development in the agricultural value chain. Don't forget to come prepared with questions and ready to share stories of your own!
