Tell us your story
We’re keen to profile youth working in landscapes on our youth blog. Submit a 500-600 word blogpost and photo that talks about the challenges and opportunities you face as a young person working in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, biodiversity, energy or other landscapes sectors to email@example.com.
We'll also be launching a series of online discussions in October that discuss key youth issues on landscapes topics. The contributions to this discussion will be formally recognized in the outcomes of the Global Landscapes Forum youth session and hopefully be presented to the UNFCCC. Get your voice heard! Check www.landscapes.org/youth for more updates soon.
On December 5th, we'll be holding a series of professional skill and knowledge-building masterclasses for young people attending the COP20. Masterclasses will help you: contribute to and facilitate a discussion, pitch your idea or message, network with older professionals, and build your understanding of landscapes in the context of climate change and sustainable development.
Registration for masterclasses will open on www.landscapes.org/youth in early October. Please note, we are currently not able to offer financial support for masterclass participants to travel to Peru. If you can’t attend the on-site masterclasses, we will be making the materials available (and may have a number of public webinars) on our website.
If you know organizations that may be able to sponsor masterclasses, please contact Marina (firstname.lastname@example.org).
