  • Kwetu – Youth-led Innovation Centre of Excellence in Agriculture

I am the chairman and Founder of Kwetu Innovations Centre of Excellence. For the last two years KICE has been working to empower youth and women in rural parts of Kenya by offering training on best farm practices. We have mobilized over 500 youth in the country and we are now carrying out agribusiness projects utilizing innovative technologies e.g. Green house farming.

I am still implementing strategic projects with CCAFS, ACIAR and CSIRO because of that single trip. It is only proper for me to allow YPARD to grow...
  • The Agripreneur: A new breed of Young entrepreneurs combining their love of Farming and Agriculture with an acquired professional Business Approach

I took the initiative to research on effective low cost models of irrigation and later picked up some models that were fabricated locally at almost half the cost. I later passed on these models to my colleagues who were interested in low cost irrigation systems and market knowledge of what to grow. It’s from this that BITEPH Strategic Consulting was started and currently operating in Uganda.
